דחיית פתיחת הסמסטר, הנחיות הגעה לקמפוס ועדכונים אקדמיים בתקופת חירום

More than a week has passed since the war with Iran began. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that your personal safety, as well as your mental and physical well-being, remain our highest priority.

Running to protected spaces, sleepless nights, and the struggle to maintain some sense of routine during such a turbulent period take a heavy physical and emotional toll. We are here for you and available for any need, concern, or question. Please do not hesitate to contact the academic staff, the administrative staff, or the faculty leadership at any time.

Those of you who have been called up for reserve duty are kindly asked to inform us. The faculty and its various units will do everything possible to support reservists during this period.

As you have already been updated by the university administration and by us, we in the faculty are closely monitoring developments and preparing accordingly. Below are clarifications regarding several key matters:

1. Opening of the Spring Semester: As you have been informed, the start of the semester has been postponed to Sunday, April 12, 2026. The faculty is preparing for the new schedule, including adjustments to classes, assignments, and projects. The secretariats of the different departments will update you regarding the teaching format in your respective unit.

2. Access to Campus: You may come to campus only after receiving approval by email from your unit. Please contact your unit’s administrative office in order to obtain permission to access campus. Even after approval is granted, your visit must be limited to the time allocated to you.

3. Written Assignments and End-of-Semester Submissions (Semester A): The submission deadline for all written assignments in courses that are not seminars has been postponed to March 31, 2026.

4. Second Exam Dates (Semester A): In the coming days we will update you regarding the schedule of second exam dates for courses from Semester A. The exams will take place in accordance with university regulations.

5. Practical Submissions – Semester A: Updates will be sent by the individual units, and consideration will of course be given to your current circumstances.
