Planning Policy regarding Arab Palestinian Towns in Israel
Dr. Enaya Banna Jeries is a landscape architect and urban planner who graduated with a PhD from the Technion. She is a professional director at the Arab Center for Alternative Planning and a research fellow at the Urban Clinic of the Hebrew University as well as a lecturer at the Institute of Urban Studies of the Hebrew University. She was selected in 2020 by the National Association of Planners as one of the most influential figures in planning in the country. She is an expert in planning and land policy and urban planning issues in Arab society and has been leading a variety of projects promoting quality of planning and bridge between planning and building laws and the needs and nature of construction in Arab society for years. As part of her previous work as lead engineer at the Iron Regional Committee, she promoted several innovative projects that dealt with issues of housing, planning and economic development, among other things. As part of her work, she is a member of several expert teams and advises on a variety of issues elated to urban and strategic planning, statutory planning, housing, planning and economic development in Arab society and Arab towns and cities
